A shoe—an Owners pump of a certain mod color, had a seat at the design table. This is how, most memorably, the building would meet the ground. This will be a pavilion for living in- a strip of glass between the top of the interior walls and the ceiling—a singular triangular roof form would MORE than cover the heated space, without visible means of support…it would hover. A very orderly but completely covert structure will do away with the need for any window headers and light from outside or inside will stream across the aspen ceiling plane and aspen soffit equally. Exterior walls will meander in and out of the structural building line and the landscape, without a need to bear any but their own weight and the theme from the Jetsons will play when someone new is at the door.
